What Travelers Say
"A great introduction to food culture in Thessaloniki and Greece generally. A lovely, informative guide. It was great to go to the food market and try different foods. The Greek coffee in a cafe worked well at the beginning as the group could get to know each other a bit."
"Our guide Elena was fantastic. She gave us a lot of of information about the local cuisine and its various origins. She was also very knowledgeable about the history of Thessaloniki. It was lovely to visit the local working markets. I really enjoyed them. The cafe we stopped at was just incredible. This is a very enjoyable tour and I would highly recommend it."
"It was a great and enjoyable tour! We tried a lot of different things (from salty to sweet) and discovered the delicious cuisine of Greece. We strolled together through the sunny streets of Thessaloniki, got tips for eateries and market stalls, including a little historical background on individual specialties, and took mindful breaks for enjoyment. Although I don't like olives, my opinion was changed after this tour. I was more than full after this tour. My recommendation: have little/minimal breakfast beforehand. ;-) Konstantina (guide), with her warm and open manner, was great company and we laughed a lot together. I highly recommend the tour and had a great time! :-)"
"the guide was lovely and informative. we ate good and had apleasent day stroling the nearby streets"

"Outstanding food tour with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. The food offerings were a nice mix and portioned such that you could try everything and not feel overly stuffed at the end. Lots of interesting Thessaloniki history shared throughout. Thanks for a lovely morning!"
"A wonderful tour with a most excellent guide. Elena shared so much about Thessaloniki and we went to many places and tried lots of different delicious food. I got to experience little shops and the markets. It was a thoroughly enjoyable tour, one of the best I’ve been on and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Loved it ❤️ !"

"Constantina was an amazing guide through the market. She introduced us to all kinds of things we would have missed including the best Greek coffee and the best bougatsa. Olives and cheeses were also on the menu. Skip breakfast before you go because there are so many good things to eat."
